About the Natural Resources and Environmental Research Center (NRERC)
Led by Professor Ofira Ayalon, the NRERC at the University of Haifa is a leading research center dedicated to addressing critical environmental and natural resource challenges in Israel and beyond. We foster an interdisciplinary approach, integrating expertise in environmental economics, policy analysis, engineering, and ecosystem services to develop innovative and sustainable solutions.
Our research focuses on pressing issues such as:
