David Katz is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Haifa’s School of Environmental Sciences and an Adjunct Associate Professor at Duke University’s Nicholas School of Environment. He holds a Ph.D. in Natural Resource Policy from the University of Michigan and has worked extensively in environmental policy, water management, and transboundary resource governance. His research focuses on international water conflicts, incentives for resource conservation, the water-energy nexus, and desalination. Katz has published numerous peer-reviewed journal articles, book chapters, and reports on these topics and has collaborated with international organizations such as the UNDP and the World Bank.
