Call for Papers – Special Issue on Energy & Environmental Economics

As the world confronts climate change and advances sustainable development, the intersection of energy, environment, and economics plays a critical role. This Special Issue seeks innovative research that deepens our understanding of these dynamics and informs effective policy solutions.

We welcome contributions from diverse disciplines on topics including (but not limited to):

Energy transition and decarbonization, including equity impacts

Energy policy design and evaluation

Market-based instruments for energy and environmental governance

The energy–economy–environment (EEE) nexus

Climate change mitigation economics

Behavioral economics in energy use

Equity and justice in energy access

Climate policy: theory vs. political reality
