NRERC is proud to share that a new paper by Dr. Bela Nikitina, “Dumpster Diving and Street Scavenging: Audience Perception of Informal Circular Practices Presented by YouTube Vloggers,” has now been published in Local Environment / Taylor & Francis.

The article examines how YouTube audiences respond to demonstrated informal circular practices such as dumpster diving and street scavenging, and how these practices are interpreted across different socio-cultural contexts in relation to waste, reuse, social norms, and environmental concerns.
