Environmental Conference at the University of Haifa

On October 7, 2023, the late Evyatar Kipnis was murdered in Kibbutz Be’eri, and the late Ohad Yahalomi was abducted from Kibbutz Nir Oz to Gaza and murdered there.

Evyatar and Ohad, alumni of the School of Environmental Sciences in the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Haifa, were a beloved part of the school community and left behind families, friends, and an entire community that remembers and misses them deeply.

The conference is held in their memory and seeks to foster the connection between community, nature, and the environment, and the capacity to find resilience, meaning, and hope even in times of crisis.

In their memory and in honor of their legacy, we invite you to a conference exploring nature, the environment, and the power of nature, community, and hope in times of crisis.
