The SBCA 2025 European Conference was held on November 27-28, 2025, in Athens, Greece.The Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB) hosted the conference through its Research Laboratory on Socio-Economic and Environmental Sustainability (ReSEES).

The conference aims to advance the use of benefit-cost analysis (BCA) across scientific discourses as a tool for informed policy and investment decisions. It promotes methodological excellence, interdisciplinary collaboration, and practical relevance in evaluating projects, programs, and regulations. By fostering dialogue across academic disciplines and policy domains, the conference supports the broader goal of enhancing societal well-being through more effective public choices.

פרופ’ פלטניק השתתפה בכנס SBCA 2025 European Conference, שנערך ב־27–28 בנובמבר 2025 באתונה, יוון. הכנס התקיים באירוחה של אוניברסיטת אתונה לכלכלה ומנהל עסקים (AUEB), באמצעות המעבדה לחקר קיימות חברתית־כלכלית וסביבתית (ReSEES).הכנס איגד חוקרים ואנשי מקצוע מובילים מרחבי אירופה והעולם במטרה לקדם את השימוש ב־ניתוח עלות־תועלת (BCA) כמצפן לקבלת החלטות מדיניות והשקעות. מטרתו לחזק מצוינות מתודולוגית, לעודד שיתופי פעולה בין־תחומיים, ולהעמיק את הרלוונטיות המעשית של הערכת פרויקטים, תכניות ורגולציות ציבוריות. באמצעות טיפוח דיאלוג עשיר בין קהילות אקדמיות וגורמי מדיניות, הכנס תרם לקידום מטרה רחבה וחשובה: שיפור רווחת החברה באמצעות בחירות ציבוריות חכמות ויעילות יותר.NRERC  מברך בחום את פרופ’ פלטניק על תרומתה החשובה לפורום בינלאומי זה.
